In an effort to support the community, Redirect Health has signed on to support the 2017 Charles Schwab Cup Championship, the finale of the PGA TOUR Champions and culminating event of the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs, by providing healthcare services for fans and players.
Held Nov. 10 to 12, the tournament will make its debut at Phoenix Country Club in Phoenix, Ariz., right in Redirect Health’s backyard. Redirect Health will serve as the Official First-Aid Sponsor and will provide first-aid assistance to PGA TOUR Champions players, tournament spectators and more than 500 local volunteers throughout tournament week. Further, on-site health screenings will be provided complimentary to fans.
“We’re proud and eager to be part of an event of this scope in our hometown, especially as we increase our footprint across the U.S.,” said Redirect Health Co-founder David Berg. “Similar to Charles Schwab and other national sponsors, supporting the community we serve is something we strongly believe in. This event provides us an opportunity to support a worthwhile cause with a great economic and charitable impact, while also providing a healthcare solution for the event itself.”
In the coming weeks, Redirect Health plans to announce tournament ticket giveaways for Phoenix-area brokers, business owners, and their employees.
“We are very excited about partnering with Redirect Health and the innovative ways they are bringing healthcare not just to Phoenix, but to the U.S.,” said Executive Director Tiffany Nelson of the Charles Schwab Cup Championship. “This local partnership allows our tournament to be an outlet to get our patrons and sponsors educated on what Redirect Health is, and their new healthcare solutions. This is an exciting partnership that is unique to our tournament.”
Since its founding in 2013, Redirect Health has actively supported community events and organizations that serve local business owners. This sponsorship, Berg says, will help increase awareness about a new healthcare solution that makes healthcare easy and affordable for everyone.
