Redirect Health is proud and excited to announce that we won ‘Gold’ in the Small Employer category at World Health Care Congress’ Health Value Awards on April 29 in Washington, DC.

Additionally, co-founder and Chairman of the Board Dr. David Berg was a finalist for the category of Outstanding Benefits Professional 2017.

“It’s such an honor to have been considered for the Outstanding Benefits Professional award,” Dr. Berg said, “to have been recognized in the field at all is a great privilege.”

The Health Value Awards are sponsored by the World Health Care Congress, The Health Rosetta Institute, and the Validation Institute. This year, more than 350 health care organizations and employers were nominated in 13 categories.

The overall goal of the awards is aimed at showcasing firms and providers that disrupt and save healthcare costs for businesses and individuals. The primary parameters? Cuts of 20 percent in one year, and 40 percent by year five.

“Our entire goal has always been fixing a broken system — cutting costs where it hurts the most: consumers,” said Redirect Health CEO Paul Johnson.

Health Value Awards judges included Pamela Stanford, Director of Integrated Wellness at Humana, health management expert Fred Goldstein, and healthcare economics speaker Tom Emerick.

Held every year in Washington, DC, World Health Care Congress’ Health Value Awards offers over 1,500 attendees “industry-specific content in a multi-track format designed to deliver practical takeaways to improve your business and inform strategy” — as well as 350 speakers and a multitude of workshop events.
